Effective 1 August 2026. This policy describes what KaNun Advisory ("we," the practice of Munya Kanaventi, operating under KaNun Holdings LLC) collects through kanunadvisory.com, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect almost nothing, we sell nothing, and we use what you send us only to respond to you.
Briefing requests. When you submit the form, we receive the name, company and role, email address, and any context you choose to provide. Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms (our hosting provider) and delivered to us by email. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and, if an engagement follows, to conduct it.
Correspondence. If you email us, we retain the correspondence as ordinary business records.
Technical data. Our host, Netlify, maintains standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and operations. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts and Fontshare, which receive your IP address when your browser requests font files. We set no cookies and run no advertising or cross-site tracking. If we adopt privacy-respecting analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers named above (hosting, email), professional advisers under confidentiality, or where law requires. We do not use form submissions for marketing lists; you will only hear from us in reply to your inquiry unless you ask to be on the essay list.
Briefing inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twenty-four months. Engagement records are retained as required by law and professional practice.
Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Write to privacy@kanunadvisory.com and we will respond within thirty days. We will never discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
We are based in the United States and serve clients globally; information you submit is processed in the United States. Where GDPR applies, our lawful bases are legitimate interest (responding to business inquiries) and contract (conducting engagements).
